In 2015, Seungkwan made his on-stage debut with the South Korean boy band Seventeen. Their debut EP, 17 Carat, was digitally published on May 29. Seungkwan contributed to the “Kind of Love” OST, according to information made public on March 14 by a spokesperson for the tvN drama Mother.

“Kind of Love” portrays a tragic love story with an acoustic feel. As SVT BSS, their collective moniker, Seungkwan, bandmates Hoshi, and DK made their debut on March 21, 2018. The group launched their first single, “Just Do It,” and engaged in a brief promotional tour.
