Early Life And Career
Sana has always wanted to be a K-pop idol, even as a little child. She worked hard to achieve her goal because she aspired to be as inspirational as Girls’ Generation.
She initially underwent training with EXPG in Osaka in 2009 in order to become a Japanese vocalist.

A JYP’s talent scout found her with her pals at a shopping center while she was merely a middle school student.
After that, Sana received an invitation to take part in the yearly JYP Entertainment audition in Japan. She fortunately made it through that audition and joined JYP as a trainee in April 2012.
Then, this girl started her more than three-year training course in South Korea. She was originally supposed to be a part of a JYP new female group, but the group never made its debut.
She signed up for Sixteen, a JYP x Mnet competition designed to find a new girl group in 2015.
She was able to win over the judges and audiences with her charm and abilities.
She joined winning groups TWICE as a result of her efforts.
In October 2015, Sana released the EP’s lead single, “Like Ooh Ahh,” which marked her first collaboration with TWICE.
