8. Hokkaido Kannon
The age is fourteen. It’s also known as Kita no Miyako Park’s Dai Kannon, and few people realize it’s Japan’s third highest statue. The construction of the statue began in 1975, and according to the architectural plan, it will have 20 levels and an elevator to reach the summit. Many of the levels include shrines, which provide visitors with a breathtaking perspective.
