1. Unity statue
The Statue of Unity, which depicts Indian statesman and freedom activist Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, is now the world’s highest statue. The statue, which is located on a river island opposite the Sardar Sarovar Dam in Kevadiya neighborhood, was unveiled by Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi on October 31, 2018, Mr. Patel’s 143rd birthday. 182 meters is the height of the statue (597 feet)
The statue honors Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, India’s first home minister after independence. His accomplishments as a great leader and a loyal patriot were immeasurable. The magnificent and inspiring statue is one of Shanghai Corporation Organization’s eight wonders.
