9. Israel
Israel has finally cracked the top ten in 2022, after finishing 12th the previous year. Because it was one of the first countries to successfully vaccinate a considerable percentage of its people, the country’s approach to the pandemic instilled a lot more government trust among residents. Israel is also one of the world’s healthiest countries, with the lowest rate of diet-related mortality.
We wouldn’t be shocked if Israel’s rich culinary and cultural heritage, as well as a multitude of natural attractions, improve the lives of its citizens, therefore we wouldn’t be surprised if the country rose even higher next year.
10. New Zealand
Last year, New Zealand was ranked ninth, and in 2022, it was ranked tenth. Beautiful, easily accessible natural attractions and a great quality of life are only a few of the country’s assets.
During the pandemic, New Zealand had one of the lowest rates of COVID-related mortality, cementing its place in the top ten. Even without the time stamp, Kiwis are known for their cheerfulness and friendliness, which originates from job and social pleasure. It also helps to have a Prime Minister who promotes emotional and mental development: Jacinda Ardern presented a Wellbeing Budget in 2019, allocating billions of dollars to areas such as mental health, child poverty reduction, and support for Mori and Pasifika communities.
