According to Edison Research’s early national findings of the exit poll done for CNN and other news networks, more voters trust Republicans than Democrats to handle inflation and crime.
On those two subjects, about half of voters said they trusted GOP candidates, while more than 40% said they trusted Democratic ones.
A little over half of respondents said they trusted Democratic politicians on the topic of abortion, compared to more than 4 in 10 people who said they trusted Republican candidates.
