Early Life And Career
He made his JYP Entertainment debut on March 25, 2018, as a member of the boy band Stray Kids.
When JYP Entertainment decided to end his exclusive contract with Stray Kids due to personal circumstances, he made the announcement of his departure from the company on October 27, 2019.
On September 8, 2020, a Twitter user going by the name of Anonymous reported that an idol had harassed her in a pub. The woman claims that the idol continued on talking even after she admitted having a partner, and when she tried to leave, he grabbed her by the wrist and wouldn’t let go until she screamed. Additionally, the account gave away several hints that made others on the internet think it was Kim Woo Jin. Later that day, Woojin used his social media accounts to clarify that the charges were false and that he was aware of them. He also used the occasion to declare that he was getting ready for solo operations with a recently established agency.
A few hours later, 10x Entertainment said that they were defending the accusations in court and that they had proof that Woojin was at his house on the alleged day.
On June 30, 2021, 10x Entertainment posted a documentary about the incident called “Finger Killer” on YouTube.
Solo debut in 2021
Woojin declared his fandom name would be “CUBS ” on March 25, 2021.
