Early Life And Career
Jin, a member of BTS, was born in Anyang, Gyeonggi-do, but his family relocated there when he was an infant. Jin, the eldest member of BTS, is 29 years old.
He studied at Konkuk University in Seoul and earned a degree in theater and film. BTS’s sub-vocalist Jin, who excels in hitting high notes in their music, also contributes to some of the group’s lyrics.
Although dancing isn’t Jin’s strongest suit, both his fans and his bandmates have praised him for his choreography. He can also play some guitar, the piano, and the pipe organ.
When Jin was in middle school, SM Entertainment made him an offer. He passed the initial audition but chose against accepting the offer because he suspected it would be a sham. Big Hit Entertainment then scouted him during his undergraduate years for an acting role, but instead of giving him that opportunity, they made him a BTS trainee, which ultimately led to his joining the group.
Additionally, Jin is well-known for his physical prowess; he excels at wakeboarding (on his first attempt! ), tennis, golf, and snowboarding.
In his first year of high school, Jin considered becoming a journalist, but he later changed his mind after being moved by the acting in the Korean drama “Queen Seondeok.” Jin believes that he would have become a farmer if he hadn’t been a singer because he used to work at his uncle’s melon and strawberry farm.
Jin eventually became a K-pop idol to broaden his experiences. On V’s Live BTS channel, Jin was the first to debut his own program, “Eat Jin Live”

The military officially accepted Jin on December 13, 2022. He is slated to be released on June 12, 2024.
