Kim Myung Jun, better known by his stage name MJ (born March 5, 1994), is a South Korean singer who is the oldest and lead vocalist of the Kpop group Astro, which is managed by Fantagio Entertainment. He belonged to the Trot Project’s Super Five team as well. On February 23, 2016, MJ joined Astro for the first time.

Early Life And Career
By taking part in the 2012 JYP Entertainment X HUM Audition, MJ first entered the entertainment industry.
He was successful in receiving a 12-month scholarship from Seoul National University. He later failed an audition with JYP Entertainment.
The Suwon native later started working for Fantagio. He participated in their iTeen talent development program.
MJ and five other iTeen Boys appeared in the web series To be Continued in 2015. The new boy band ASTRO was set to include these boys.
MJ and the other ASTRO participants participated in the reality program ASTRO OK! Ready. It debuted in January 2016.
This K-pop star’s ASTRO debut came in February 2016 after their reality show. Spring Up, the group’s self-titled EP, was released.
It debuted at number six on the Billboard World Albums Chart and number four on the Gaon Album Chart.
With ASTRO, MJ achieved his first No. 1 in 2017. They used it for their fourth EP, Dream Part. The EP not only reached its highest point on the Gaon Album Chart, but also reached number six on the World Albums Chart.
