The Flying Spur combines luxurious comfort with exceptional acceleration, thanks to its special 6-litre W12 engine, which delivers 645 horsepower. However, given the Spur’s 2.4-tonne weight, such power is required. It boasts a top speed of 207 mph and can accelerate from a standstill to 60 mph in under 3.7 seconds.
A new chassis, co-developed with Porsche and featuring four-wheel steering and active anti-roll bars, advantages Crewe’s ‘junior’ saloon significantly. It also improves the cabin’s isolation from the road, laying the groundwork for truly excellent driving dynamics. The grip, balance, and steering have all improved noticeably.
