The Melbourne Cricket Ground is one of the world’s most famous sporting venues. This is a multipurpose facility that hosts cricket and football matches. As a result of hosting every major sort of event over the years, the ground has garnered a lot of notoriety.
The MCG, or Melbourne Cricket Ground, has hosted Australian Rules Football matches, Olympic events, and World Cup qualifiers, among other things. It has a seating capacity of 100,024 people, making it the second-largest cricket stadium in the world.
The Melbourne Cricket Ground is conveniently located near Melbourne Park and is within walking distance of the city center. The 1956 Summer Olympics, the Commonwealth Games in 2006, and two Cricket World Cups in 1992 and 2015 were all held there.
