The Biggest Stadiums In The World 2024
9. Borg El Arab Stadium – EGYPT

In terms of total capacity, this is the second largest stadium on the African continent, trailing only the FNB Stadium. The Borg El-Arab Stadium, on the other hand, has a capacity of 86,000, making it Egypt’s largest by a long shot. Unlike many other stadiums of its type, it has been air-conditioned in many areas, allowing it to effectively resist the intense weather conditions in this part of the world. The stadium’s designers have gone to great lengths to ensure that it has every form of facility imaginable, including two sub-stadiums with a combined capacity of 2000 spectators.
Surprisingly little is known about the Borg El Erab Stadium, despite the fact that it is one of the top ten largest stadiums in the world by capacity. We know it has a parking lot large enough to accommodate 5000 automobiles, but we don’t know what the most attended match has been in the stadium’s history. We know that a 35 percent umbrella covers the stadium, but we don’t know how much the stadium cost to build.
