👀 What makes you who you are? What is it that makes you different from other people?

I love to observe human interaction, peoples actions, reactions and also to discover what makes them tick. The thing that I notice so frequently is that people are so afraid of being themselves. People are intimidated by others perception of them and they shy away from living freely as a result of that fear. I cannot tell you how unhappy that made me... NEVER let someone’s opinion of you, define you.

We are all here to do our best and have a shot at happiness, so do what makes you happy! Act the way you feel and treat others the way you would like to be treated. I have never needed to rely on a set of rules, a list of commandments or a standard set by someone I know nothing about to know what is right. I know what’s right, what’s wrong and I know that so many of you would live happier lives if you concentrated only on you and lived freely, happily and confidently without fear of judgement. 

Do not act to impress, do not adopt a persona based on the people who surround you. BE YOU. 

If the people who are closest to you don’t believe in your vision and they don’t want to see you succeed, they are not your people. Cut, eradicate all negativity and FOCUS on achieving what makes you happiest. “It’s not that easy”. I get it. But why live on your knees being unhappy because of someone elses perspective?

Note: When I’m training back, I try to focus on my mind to muscle connection during every rep. My back is a weakness and you’ll notice on the Landmine row my sets and reps are different from the others as my lower back has been injured before and I’m gradually building the strength and confidence back before going hard on it.
