At 28, I started playing tennis. At 29, I did my first sprint distance triathlon. At 30, I took my first CrossFit class. At 31, I completed my first half ironman. I gave up consumption of alcohol. At 32, I did my first full ironman. Between 32-34, I shifted my diet to a high fat diet, implemented a sauna practice, and focused on getting at least 8 hours of sleep each night. At 33 and 34, I competed in the Ironman World Championships. At 36 I tore my MCL. It healed on it’s own. At 37 I shifted my focus to strength training and less aerobic conditioning. I picked up cold exposure. At 38, I picked up mountain biking. At 39, I shifted my focus to CrossFit and mountain biking. At 44 I’m training to qualify + compete at the CrossFit Games + Hyrox World Championships in my age group.19K

Ohio State Reformatory
The cornerstone laid on November 4, 1886 evolved into this magnificent Chateauesque structure. Cleveland architect Levi T. Scofield designed the Ohio State Reformatory using a combination of three architectural styles; Victorian Gothic, Richardsonian Romanesque and Queen Anne. This was done to encourage inmates back to a "rebirth" of their spiritual lives. The architecture itself inspired them to turn away from their sinful lifestyle, and toward repentance. This grand structure is comprisedmorre than 250,000 square feet and houses the world's largest free-standing steel cell block. The Reformatory doors were opened to its first 150 young offenders in September 1896. After housing over 155,000 men in its lifetime, the doors to the prison closed December 31, 1990. Today the Ohio State Reformatory Historic Site receives visitors from all over the world. Every year tourists, movie buffs, thrill seekers and paranormal investigators walk through the halls of this majestic structure.326
